  1. Hmm is anyone else having problems with the pictures on this blog loading?

I’m trying to figure out if its a problem on my end
or if it’s the blog. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.

  2. Hullo Subhan. I’ve been absent from blogging for many months, having been through significant life trauma and am just now returning to redefine and sculpt my purpose in life. You are the sweetest, kindest human being to offer your own blog as a space for connection, and I’ve loved scrolling through all these comments to find some beautiful people here.

I’ve been following your own blog for some time now and am always delighted by the sheer beauty of your words…the natural gift you have to bring things not just to life, but to the light. As for me, you’ll possibly remember a few of my pieces from ‘Musings From the Soul’, my wordpress blog. I’ve just purchased a custom domain and am now most easily found on https://soulandspiritmusings.com

I explore issues as they’re given to me in my daily experiences, looking at them in the light of both the psyche and the soul; and the difficulties we sometimes face integrating our physical selves with our spiritual selves. The last few years have brought me experiences that have led to a deep understanding of what it is to be emotionally, psychologically and verbally abused; the psychic trauma it causes, and how to recover from the scars. I can also understand and have compassion for the pain of the abuser. It has become a new passion, a driving force, in my life, to expose this darkness, which is increasing in the world, and to do my utmost to ensure that no-one, if I can possibly help them, will suffer through the incredible pain of abuse. You can explore my new topic at https://killingmesoftly.co

Thank you again for being such a giving person. Love and light.

  3. What a wonderful idea to have an “open” recommendation page rather than a hand picked blogroll. I am a fellow blogger and I won’t introduce myself by saying who I am, as I think it’s irrelevant and I write anonymously. My words speak about life, and love, and self-transformation and share many of the same inspirations as these pages, http://profanelight.wordpress.com/

  4. I got this website from my friend who shared with me regarding this
website and at the moment this time I am browsing
this web site and reading very informative articles at this time.

  5. I just want to mention I’m all new to blogs and certainly loved you’re web-site. Very likely I’m want to bookmark your blog post . You amazingly have excellent well written articles. Thank you for sharing your webpage.

  6. Hi everyone, I am a writer, gifted with the feathers of poetry. I write through my swaying emotions, and that makes my works unique. I speak the truth, as much as I have discovered it.

I invite you to take a peep at my blog http://thebenneh.wordpress.com/ and see what awesome things you will find there.
    :)

  7. This is a brilliant idea! Kudos to you Subhan! :)
And really glad to meet you through the WordPress community; a divinely sublime writer you are, oh yes… but more than that you are a great person. Your writings reflect so.

    Good day
    Tanumoy

  8. Thank you, Subhan, for visiting my blog http://soundeagle.wordpress.com and striking up lively conversations there. I have incorporated the results of our discussions in Writing Guideline number 9 above, using the following examples:

The woman is a little taller than he (has ever been).
Peter asked “Who is this?” and Simon answered “This is I.”

  9. Hi Subhan
Thanks for visiting my blog and ‘liking’ so much of my work! I love your blog – was drawn in by your tagline… The line ‘I sculpt the light and slap the thunder. I cuddle the moon and kiss the sun. ‘ Brilliant. I am following and look forward to reading more!

My blog is about writing, people and poetry. Not necessarily in that order! I’ve been writing a lot of short stories lately but aim to write more poems this month… I also write about parenting (if anyone’s interested) over at http://www.motheringmushroom.wordpress.com

  10. Greetings Subhan,

Thank you for visiting Poets Network & Exchange and leaving a comment. It was very thoughtful. I enjoyed visiting your blog. Your welcoming message and the accompanying photos are great! I welcome all visitors to my blog and comments.

Poets Network & Exchange is on facebook.

You will have to send a friend request to join the group. I will have to add you on.

  11. This is such a great idea ! Not a lot of people are selfless enough to use the blogs as platforms for others !
My name is Divya, I am 19 years old, and I am studying business in Chennai, India.
I’ve been blogging just for the past couple of months, and it has completely inspired me.
Writing poetry has always been my passion, and I write about things that move and inspire me at that moment, however trivial they might seem.
Poetry is my only outlet of emotions, as is a direct window into my heart and what I am feeling at that moment.
I love music, travelling and bright colors.
I have an acute phobia of butterflies.

  12. Hi everyone

It’s lovely to have an opportunity to meet with all of you and a big thank you to Subhan for bringing us all together.

My name is Corinne and I write a daily inspiration blog at soulsnet.com. I have long been interested in spirituality and pshychology and love writing. Surprising to me what I write comes out as rhyming poetry. I try to update the blog daily though sometimes life gets in the way!! I am very new to blogging and have much to learn but it is so much more than I thought. I didn’t expect to meet all these lovely people but what a nice surprise.

I am just finding my way around the blogosphere, more hit than miss at present, but I would love it if you visited me at soulsnet.com and I promise to return the favour.

I look forward to meeting you all. Greetings from the UK where we all in the grip of Olympic fever. We watched the opening ceremony last night and it was wonderful to see the world assembled in peace and harmony. What an inspiration to us all. We are all so much more the same than we are different.

May we all be peaceful and at ease.

    Corinne at soulsnet.com

  13. What a brilliant idea! My name is Bird and I write Everyone Has a Story at birdmartin.wordpress.com. I write about my messy life. :-)

  14. Great idea Subhan, and it’s wonderful to read through brief synopses of other people’s blogs.

I’ve been blogging for almost a year now about:

    - the achievement of goals on my life list (inc. ’50 Goals in a Year’)
    - my ‘microadventures’ e.g. hitchhiking to the Arctic
    - my journey in setting up my own businesses
    - photography (inc. my ‘photo a day for a year’ project)
    - politics & economics (from a liberal stance)

    Check it out at http://jonmaiden.wordpress.com.

    Thanks!

    Jon

  15. I love this idea! Thank you, Subhan Zein, every time I read your words I get inspired and filled with hope – thought I would tell you while I was here. :-)

My name is Angelique…you can call me Angel if you like. I mainly use my poetry blog when traveling around the blogosphere. It is where I share images and art that I find on the internet that helps me express visually what I am feeling when writing out the words of my poems. http://mindretrofit7.wordpress.com/

I have several blogs that I link to on there as well. My Mind Retrofit blog is my personal “journey” I guess I would call it. I have a short story blog that I sometimes publish longer, or more detailed poems, as well as short stories they can be located on Unpegging Retro.

I write about everything. Mainly, I try to express my world which is heavily influenced by the feeling and seeing of colors. I see words in visual expressions, they are alive, have emotions, and dance in colors. I also seem to give every inanimate object a personality. They always have so many tales to share! :-)

  16. Subhan, you are an amazing, caring and generous person that I am honored to have visit my blog. My name is Francine, and my blog features photos I have taken concerning everyday life experiences and the events that surrounds them. I hope it encourages, inspires and provide information on the places I visit as I travel through my retirement years. I hope fellow bloggers will come by for a visit and hopefully become a follower. I can be found here.

    BE ENCOURAGED! BE BLESSED!

  17. Subhan, I just found ‘here’ a few minutes ago. I am honored to be able to write here for a moment. I, also, thought it wonderful to find so many fellow-bloggers in one space to read about! Special, all because you are so generous. Thank-you, Subhan.

I write about my son, Tommy, who died at the young age of 40.. he died at the ocean playing with his son, collapsing on the sand. No one knew he was sick, had 2 blockages to his heart. I write to never forget Tommy… he was so real, all the years he was here he was ‘somebody’. I also, write about other things, stories I call ‘colors of my life’.

I’m a very positive person, though ‘bad’ things have happened to me. I just keep thinking that ‘everything’s going to be alright’, keep going forward.

My main blog: happycolorsandgrannygee.blogspot.com I am here on wordpress.com, also. Thank-you, Subhan, for this opportunity to share my blog with others, it means so much. Granny Gee/Gloria

  18. Hello Friends of Subhan. Sounds like a Masonic Order. lol I have been blogging for many years but officially here a couple of months, I love the WordPress blogging community, such really creative, talented, interesting and generous people. It has actually been the most positive experience that I have had online and I have been meeting people online since 2002.

I just made a post today, how I came to my blog name and blogging here. I like to share my rum the gamut of spiritual belief and philosophies. I like to learn, share and co-create. Please come and visit if you are so inclined.

  19. Hi Subhan! What a great and generous idea! I have two blogs. The primary blog is about “family, faith and friends.” I have numerous posts about my family history, including old photos from a family archive. I will occasionally write posts about my daughter and special needs.

I write as part of my profession, but blogging gives me an opportunity to write creatively. It also gives me the opportunity to connect with some really wonderful and interesting people.

Here is the link to my primary blog:

My second blog is about crocheting, as this is a passion of mine.

  20. Hello there fellow bloggers, I’m a Newfoundlander born and bred and I’ll be one till I die…(words to a well known song) and I love to talk about my province in Canada, and in particular Pasadena which I left when I was 17. I return there every summer, and this year is Come HOme Year, so I am spending a whole week there. I started blogging to encourage people in Pasadena and St. Shotts to write. Success I’ve had a lot! In St. Shotts, a small outport community I’ve compiled a book called St. Shotts, Newfoundland: Our Home, Our Anchor with 38 other writers and we’ve done 48 stories. We are now selling our second order of 300 books, so if you’d like to get a copy, check out my blogs: http://www.newfoundlandtraveller.wordpress.com and http://www.lovinglifeinnewfoundland.posterous.com
The book is $15 with $3.40 for postage within Canada. Send me a message and I’ll give you more details. Thanks for reading my comment and I hope to see you soon on my blog, checking out my many topics, from trips to Mexico to making homemade bread! Thanks for this opportunity, Subhan Zein!

  21. It speaks volumes about your character that you would allow space for others to promote themselves; you are a good man!…I try to write stories, about family and personal experience, with humor being the central focus (at varying levels of success).

  22. Hi Subhan

I am very new to blogging and am very keen to make contact with like minded souls. I write a daily inspiration blog at soulsnet.com, an online retreat for the bruised, the bothered and bewildered, so I guess that covers most of us.

Thanks for giving us a chance to meet one another here. Although the tekky part of blogging leaves me with a headache for the most part, I am still trying to find my way around, I love the fact that we can meet up with others for mutual help and support.

    I will return.

    Thanks
    Corinne at soulsnet@com

  23. I, too had great trouble uploading a blog roll – it was possible but now it requires serious updating and I keep putting that off!

I am Jacqueline King and lie on The Isle of Wight, just off the coast of England, As wightrabbit I run two blogs: http://wightrabbit.wordpress.com in which I contribute to Occupy Blogoshpere Thursday, sending out shots of light and positivity. I also use this blog to write about my writing (which seems to have taken a back seat lately!)

On http://taoofscrumble.wordpress.com I showcase some of my husband’s artwork each week, in a Virtual Open Studio and talk about our life together, my passions and my crafts.
Thank you for this generous opportunity, Subhan, can feel your love and warmth in the way that you write! :)

  24. My name is Blaga and my bog is called Broke Sparkles! It’s amazing how many talented people you can meet in the blog world! It’s nice to meet you Subhan Zein, thank you for your visits!

  25. Hello Sir Subhan,

Thank you for this page. This makes other bloggers share and connect each other too… I love all the way you write sir.. No doubt that my heart draws closer to you as how I admire your romantic desires in poetry.

To all fellow bloggers, thanks too for making my idol (Sir Subhan) your friends too.

  26. My name is Maggie, I have written a memoir called Fly Away Home and it was published in April 2012. I started blogging to promote the book which is about how I fled America with three small children, ended up in Norway, found love and was on the move again. My blog is like the unedited sequel, its about my life, my family, my travels and trying to live happily ever after in a foreign country. Your welcome to stop by and visit, http://flyawayhomebook.com/
    Thanks Subhan!

  27. Super idea Subhan! Thanks so much for the opportunity.
My name is Jacqueline, but I blog by the name Celeste Alluvial. I am a wife and mom and love to read and write poetry and short stories. I have blossomed in my talents since starting my blog in December, and have had a wonderful time writing from my heart and passions, and meeting lots of great people from all over the world. I am very devoted to my craft, and am proud of all my works and all I have accomplished. My works speak for themselves, and all are free to drop by for a visit to see for yourself. Proceed with caution and hold on to your hats, it’s a wild ride within my domain! :)
    See you there….
    Celeste

  28. Wonderul idea, Subhan. I blog mostly about how I try to balance writing and life as a working mother of two children. I am an aspiring novelist, I teach creative writing to kids, I’m a freelance writing coach…and I’m a blogger! I love this community and I have learned a lot in the few months I have been doing this. Cheers!

  29. Although my picture belies my age I have only been blogging since March 2011. I have written all my life and still one day hope to publish. These days I am working fulltime and trying to write when I can. I have my muse in nature and people and my site is varied from prose to poetry to short stories, some of which are for children and adults. I feel I am of the Spirit and love to laugh about life. I am also an artist and love music. I have five adult children and too many grandchildren to count. If you would like to know more please visit my site at http://reneejustturtleflight.com and go to the ‘About’ page. I love the blogging arena and have met wonderfully gifted people that give encouragement to move forward with what I have a passion for. Thank You!

  30. Such a kind invitation, Subhan. It would be rude to refuse.

What should I tell you? I love to read, love to write, but most of all, I love to travel.
It’s the primary subject of my blog http://restlessjo.wordpress.com/
I love to wander, both here at home in England, and abroad. My Dad is Polish and I have a home in the Algarve, so there are a few opportunities. Come along with me?

  31. sssssssst ……., I am a crybaby
but that does not mean I am weak
part of the journey of my life taken as lessons
mistakes has taught me to be more careful
problems costed me to be stronger
sorrow created me to be more steadfast
    and remorse?
    hope will not happen again
    my dream?
a simple one but not easy
to always be a loving caring person
I am not a writer and never learn about writing but I love to write.
well that’s me, its a pleasure to be visited and welcome to my world!

ps. Dik terima kasih atas kesempatan ini, ‘niat yang baik akan mengantarkan hasil yang tak ternilai’

    Hugs

  32. My dear Subhan you truly are a master of great ideas. I’m a writer- blogger- artist. Perhaps I should have a narrower focus but I prefer to blog about anything and everything. Mine is a life well-lived and I try to show that in everything I do. My life is rich with experience and love, but much more is to be learned and enjoyed. If anyone is interested they could stop by and say hi at http://karmicdiva.wordpress.com. Everyone is welcome and my door is always open.

  33. Hi Subhan, I am so happy I discovered your blog and read through your beautiful lines. This page is a great idea! Congratulations.
    Dear reader,
My name is Sahar and my blog is called peeledonion. I write about learnings in life which make our minds stronger and softer, our hearts more open and our Self more compassionate, whether in our daily hectic lives or in our busy stressful jobs.
At work, I am a business manager in an international consumer goods company; outside of work, I practice yoga and write Peeledonion. Overall, I believe in practicsing what we preach and being the change we want to see in ou world, with a tint of light humor and subtle poetry.
Visit my blog and let’s spend some time together sharing ideas.
    Namaste!

  34. I am Kenneth Rellum, poet at Capelle aan den IJssel in The Netherlands, originally from Suriname (South-America). My beloved writing style is the self developed Gladius Poeticus©, or so to speak the poetic short sword. By means of this free verse of mostly 13 short lines I try to approach the essence of what needs to be told as directly as possible. Check it out here http://gladiuspoeticus.wordpress.com/

  35. Thanks for the invitation, and especially for the reminder that I also would like to start a blogroll on my page. I wonder if my theme will allow it? And, I wonder if I want to do it as a page anyway so that there are less visual distractions.

Anyway, yes, connections are half of the fun with blogging, and I’m behind on reading and commenting for others…so good timing Subhan!

I’ve blogged for a few years. The first blog was an online journal that I didn’t do much editing or put a lot of stock in worrying about what it was for other people and that was a great experience. I called it Deep Within and have since closed it and look forward to doing something with what I wrote there – maybe I’ll just print them out and give myself a gold star for the efforts!

The one I work on now is called Attendance Please
    ( http://attendanceplease.wordpress.com )

and is meant to be about the experience of grace in both the religious and every day sense. Most of it is reflections in my life, but I try to make it tangible enough that what I write, I hope, sparks some sort of connection to someone or something in your life that is reason to pause during these busy, busy days that we all go through.

    Thanks again Subhan!

  36. thank you so much for giving opportunities and I enjoyed being here in your circle,I am an aspiring writer, with greater admiration in arts, magnificent photo’s, and with heart in wordings, my site willofheart.wordpress.com is my Will of Heart is my personal compilation of wordings, it can be Poetry, Short Stories, Reviews, Personal point of Views or simply experiences gain from our everyday lives, both from personal roller coaster of life or gather from what is happening in our environment….

  37. Thank you for your visits.
I would love to know how you found me?
I am in awe at some of the bloggers above.
My blog is just a tongue in cheek account of my life with the odd rant thrown in.
    http://granny1947.wordpress.com
AND…as you can see…I don’t know how to turn my address into a link. :)

  38. Subhan,

The fact that you’ve made this space available to other bloggers says so much about your generosity of spirit and sense of community. You also have one of the best writing blogs I’ve ever come across. Thank you so much for allowing me to introduce myself.

I’m Deb Sistrunk, an American, and I started blogging seven years ago at http://MediaBySistrunk.blogspot.com. My interests are a bit eclectic, but I’m really into all things media. I also publish two newer WordPress sites: http://kimshionedayatatime.wordpress.com (about my adventures as an English language instructor in Korea) and http://debsistrunkblog.wordpress.com.

For many years, I wrote for a living, working in TV and radio news. I now work simultaneously as a media consultant and an English teacher at a Korean university.

Feel free to visit my blogs to comment or to suggest blog topics. I love being a part of a blogging community that has no sense of borders.

  39. Howdy, I’m Sheri, aka Mama Sheri, and I try to post a blog every evening. It’s a mix. Usually half and half. See, I have Angora goats and love them dearly. Also, I wanted to die for 38 years and was not only saved from that, but I am thriving. I am experiencing joy that I never knew existed. Good thing I wasn’t successful with all those suicide attempts, eh? I am on a path of enlightenment and seeing quite a bit of light already, year 13. Come join my wackadoodle world……we are all connected…

  42. Thank you so much for providing this opportunity to so many bloggers to share their sites, Subhan. Your blog is the first that I’ve stumbled upon that truly celebrates one another.

I’ve been blogging for four months now and I’m really enjoying being involved with the whole blogging community. I’m an active mom (currently on an extended maternity leave…will return to work next year) who writes about literacy, children’s books, and daily life with my family.

I welcome you to stop by and share ideas and experiences at http://www.discoveranddevour.com .

  43. How generous of you to do something like this, Subhan! We get to “get our shine on” on your blog, which is already a light unto itself. :)

I am SomerEmpress; writer, mother, wife, Life artist, fitness enthusiast, activist, and small-business woman. My energy is my gift, and i aim to radically possess it! Unapologetically truthful, I write prose, poetry, and essays as I am inspired, releasing the epiphanies that are revealed to me along the way, trusting that what I write is uniquely revealed to me, though intended for the inspiration of many, or even a few.

    Graciously thanks, Subhan.

  44. Brilliant, Subhan. Cheers!

I blog about everything from self defense of intuition to nutrition, healthy living and ways to boost and embrace creativity—depending on what my muse tells me. ;) I also hang out with the WANA tribe (via WANA International) and tweet with the #MyWANA crew. Very supportive group of writers.

  45. Thank you so much for this wonderful opportunity. You have a great blog. I have already found some great sites from this page!

I am Ripley, 15, love fashion. And my mom is part alien, part human. My dad is a terminator. And no, we’re not evil!! My great great grandmother is an Ellen Ripley clone, and my grandfather protected John Connor. It’s a fun life. Join me!

  46. Subhan ~ This is a wonderful blog roll!
I am Paula from http://www.stuffitellmysister.me . Blogging has been on my “bucket list” for quite some time. My only regret is that I did not begin sooner rather than later! The blog world friends I have met thus far are amazing! My blog is a hodge podge of photos, silliness, and heart-felt thoughts. It has also kept me in communication with my sister and other family members that live miles from me. If you’ve never been to Oklahoma….now is your chance. Come on over to my blog and sit a spell ♥ And bring your iced tea!

  47. Hi Everybody,
My blog is about writing, life, and fandom with a whole lot of HAIKU thrown in.
I’m in the process of writing an animated science-fiction web show.
I am a former teacher and science writer.
Who occasionally posts fan-fiction, science commentary, and life experiences as pages on my blog. Come for the Haiku. Stay for the humor.

  48. Hi fellow bloggers. My blog is about my daily life, my family and my travels, not necessarily in that order. For six months of the year, I live right on the coast in South Africa in a beautiful seaside town, and the rest of my time is spent in Florida, USA. I don’t know which I love the best. Both places are terrific. I love to travel, and enjoy writing about too. Blogging has become an important part of my life, because I can interact with people from all over the world, and learn so much from each and every one of them. You will always be welcome at http://adinparadise.wordpress.com/

  49. Hola.

For me life is array of random happenings… events in our life come and go.. I write at Random ScriBBlings… place where I scribble about almost anything and this way I’m researching and doping out manifolds of life in small doses…

I am discovering new ways to combine my passion for travel, photography, and writing. My first novel, The Keeper of the Crystal Spring, was a historical. Now I am working on a women’s contemporary.

I hope you can stop by and say hello. You can find my blog, Writing Between the Lines, at: http://www.naomibaltuck.com/

  53. Thank you to Subhan for thinking about all of us out there writing away from our little corners of the world, hoping someone would be interested in what we have to say.
Two months ago today, I launched Digital cultures and translation (http://digitalculturesandtranslation.com) , a blog about language, culture, the information society, translation, website design, usability, readability, politics, society, technology and a wide range of topics of relevance to those of us working or participating in the digital world. I am a linguist, translator and interested in interpersonal and intercultural relations both in the “real and the virtual” worlds. I have been a passionate learner of Asian languages, culture, politics, anything! since very little and continue to be fascinated by the dynamics of the Asian continent and its people.
I work for Reed Business Information as the Hotfrog copy and content manager where I write for the Hotfrog Small Business Hub. I’m thankful to Tim Berners-Lee and all the smart people that have work to help us communicate digitally and create an online community where to share our good and bad moments and whine about things around us. So, I would like to encourage anyone who would like to have their say about similar topics, to get in touch, I look forward having more contributors writing in any language.
    Thank you all.
    Teresa :)

  54. I’ve stolen police cars, pulled all-nighters with hookers and rolled out the red carpet for drunken hillbillies. I’ve found bags of money one day, and a crap load of poop the next. And I usually do all this in a recliner in front of my computer desk. I’m a fiction writer, acrylic canvas painter, cartoonist and, the newest addition to my creative ventures, blogger. Check out the ridiculousness I call quality blogging (from time to time at any rate) at http://crookseyeview.wordpress.com

Thank you, Subhan Zein, for sharing your words with the world and allowing me to park a link on your page.

  55. This is a bright idea! Thanks Subhan :)

I am Gian Carlo Cagaanan Licanda, a brother, son, and a friend. I am 19 years old and that number is always added one every 30th day of December. I am studying at Holy Trinity College of General Santos City with the course Bachelor of Secondary Education majoring in English. I am a free spirit. I don’t talk (esp. if I have just met you). But when I do, you’d really have trouble how to make me stop. I am a people-pleaser, and because of that, I get to be dishonest. ahaha. I love to write, sing and draw and read fictions

  56. Subhan, maybe this is the chance I have been looking for to call attention to my work!

I write editorials, articles and poetry on a variety of topics. I have a degree in Public History Research, have worked in education and done editing and photography for my fathers books.I love gardening, cooking and the outdoors. Most of my life has been devoted to my family-from grandparents to grandchildren..I invite readers to learn about nature from my articles on insects, spiders, plants and much more. My editorials include subjects as varied as environmental issues, the joy and heartbreak of loving and loss, youth in America, and organizations such as Parents Heart Watch. Because I come from a close family and raised a large family, a lot of my writing is centered on heritage, love, loss and family. I enjoy becoming part of a discussion on articles I read, and hope to both share my work and enjoy the work of many fellow bloggers.

Please stop by and visit my blog at. http://beebeesworld@wordpress.com/

  58. I have been blogging for a year and a half. My writing group, Women Who Write, chose me to lead the Madison group. I also Poetry Editor of Goldfinch, the literary magazine published once a year by Women Who Write. Unfortunately, although I have met some wonderfully talented people on WordPress, only members of the organization can submit poems for consideration in the 2012 edition.
