My Greetings to You

*

*

My fellow travellers,

Here are my traveller’s greetings to you

*

A mass of broken-hearted, of grief and loss

My greetings of the wrecked ships and ruined house to you

 *

Light of the newborn dawn, sun of an endless day,

My greetings of the wrecked ships and ruined house to you

  *

We are a wayfarer on an endless road

That commences in birth but does not cease in death

*

Every birth, every death,

is nothing but another cycle of life

 *

My fellow travellers,

my greetings of a wanderer to you.

    • Good morning Jussara! :-) It is indeed morning by the time I wrote you this. I feel better, thank you. I guess the pains that I’ve been going through have slowly evaporate until they eventually vanish one day.

And thank you for your being thoughtful by sending me this song, love. I really appreciate it, because I like Kitaro. His music brings joy and serenity. :-)

I hope your day is filled with blessings and happiness, Jussara..:-)

      A hug from my heart,

      Subhan Zein

      • Good morning, Subhan Zein, thank you.
        I hope you’re better now.
I do not Understand what Happened in your life,
but I send you a hug from my heart
and I hope the pain will disappear from your heart.
        Also I like Kitaro :))
Thank you for the gift you sent me:
the wonderful music video of their country.
I searched the text of the song
and I did the translation for
my language. I understand the meaning!
        It’ s very beautiful .
        “Kalau belum bisa aku mendapatkan
Oh gadis manis yang nebjadi rebutan
        Sungguh nasib aku jadi penasaran
Sampai mati pun akan ku perjuangkan

        Memang dia yang paling menawan
        Diantara gadis yang ada
        Aku pun tak merasa hairan
        Kalau dia jadi rebutan….”
I wish you a nice day,
        hugs from my heart

    • Hi Jussara,

Thank you very much for your being thoughtful! I really appreciate it. I am now healing the wounds, amidst all the routines at work and study that I have to work on. It’s not easy, but I’m trying. So please keep praying for me, my dear. :-) I can feel that I now feel much better, but it still needs some time to fully recover.. :-)

And for you liking the song by Rhoma Irama, I am so happy. It’s my favorite song by him. I hope you like the catchy tunes and melodies he is making in the song.. :-)

I will send you another song from my home country and post it in your blog.. :-)

Warm wishes from Canberra and a hug from my heart for you,

      Subhan Zein

I haven’t forgotten your email, my dear. I will reply to it. It’s just that things are really difficult at the moment in my life, especially with my family in Indonesia and my study. I will reply to your email when things are getting better and I will tell you everything. Please, just pray for me that things are going to be fine. I shall return and will talk to you soon.. :-)

      A hug from my heart,

  2. “Light of the newborn dawn, sun of an endless day,” A very inspiring and beautiful image =)

“My fellow travellers, my greetings of a wanderer to you.”

there’s something very “each man for himself” “survival of the fittest” feeling to this whole poem

lonely perhaps but brave. =) Very nicely captured, Subhan!

    Take care,
    Que

    • Again, another lovely comment from you Que! Thank you very much! I hope your life is full of blessings and happiness, my fellow traveller.. :-)

    • Ibu Meiro, alhamdulillah. Terimakasih Ibu.

Bagaimana caranya? Banyak membaca. Saya senang membaca karya-karya berbahasa Inggris milik Jalaluddin Rumi, Rabindranath Tagore, Khalil Gibran, John Milton, William Wordsworth, Thomas Hardy, dan sebagainya.

Tinggal Google.

Baik, semoga uraian saya menjawab pertanyaan Akang yah. Terus berlatih, dan selamat berkarya! Untuk Indonesia yang lebih baik! :-)

      Salam hangat,

      Subhan Zein

      • terjawab bngt mas.
saya belajar english tu cuma modal suka. akhirnya belajar dari film2 barat yang ber text, dikit2 tp lama2 kan jd bukit.
cuma, gaya bahasanya masih amburadul ya mas?
coba deh mas lihat postingan saya.
saya bikin puisi pake bahasa indonesia dulu, terus saya terjemahkan. klo langsung pake english, otaknye blm nyampe.. lol :-D
        yah, namanya juga belajar.
saya butuh kritik membangun mas,, klo dikampung sy nie (cikampek) ngomong bhasa asing malah dibilang sok sok an, jadi susah berkembang.
nah saya cuba2 bikin lah blog untuk menyalurkan kesukaan saya.
mohon kritikan mas nya yo. ;-)

      • Semangat, Kang Acep! :-)
